"I have extensive experience with speech and language disorders, including using Sign Language, oral motor activities, picture communication, and language facilitation techniques to get kids talking. Communication is key, and my approach is to utlize a variety of techniques to help you and your child to communicate, so that frustration and negative behaviors can be minimized. I have skills in diagnosing & treating feeding disorders, complicated medical situations and experience with pediatric swallow studies. I am certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocal, and I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence, as well as being CPR certified. I have worked with a wide variety of children, including children with Autism, cleft palate, Down Syndrome, hearing impairment, and a variety of medical impairments. I have worked with newborns as well as infants and toddlers with speech and feeding difficulties."
